	We collaborated with business owners and developers to rethink the Woodruff Arts Center's ecommerce site, including subscriptions and renewals, ‘My Account’, the shopping cart, checkout, and order confirmation.
	We were hired to improve the navigation for the Tutorials section of AT&T's Premier business site. Our research and redesign earned rave reviews.
	Usability testing informed our redesign of Georgia Power's HR intranet. The resulting website got great reviews from employees and participants were able to complete 100% of tasks when we tested again the following year.
	Our redesign of Delta's Call Center system streamlined the interface with an easy-to-read design, improved space utilization, keyboard shortcuts and other research-based features.

Uncover Categories with Card Sorts

Card sorting is a fun and effective way to let users inform navigation and other information structures. Users provide their own names for tasks and categories, which can be used to build an application's navigation scheme.

How? Write one task name or description on each card and have users sort them into groups.

In an open card sort, participants are asked to organize the cards into groups that make sense to them and then name each group.
In a closed card sort, participants sort items into groups that have already been named.

Why? An open card sort is typically done when you want to learn how users organize and name tasks and categories. After you've analyzed the open sort and decided on category names, you might use a closed sort to determine whether people understand your categories.
